SBN began 23 years ago as Soundcrafters Soundoff Promotion in South Daytona with 50 cars from across Florida entered in Car Audio Nationals competition.

IASCA (International Auto Sound Challenge Association) is the prime sanctioning organization at SBN. With 28 affiliations worldwide and the original soundoff association, IASCA sets the standards for the rules of autosound competitions. Competitions include Sound Quality Challenge (SQC), Installation Quality Challenge (IQC) SPL (Sound Pressure Level) Tuner Jam Car show, MACS (Mobile Audio Car Show) and Bass Boxing.
